Now that I'm back home in New York for the summer I am a good 5-6 hours from Palmyra, New York. Palmyra is where Joseph Smith, the first president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Saints, founded the church.
This weekend there is a Young Single Adult activity sponsored there near the Hill Cumorah where many Church members perform in the Hill Cumorah Pageant each summer, which tells of the many events that occurred in the Book of Mormon.
I hopefully will be able to attend this awesome activity where I can have a chance to meet many people my age that share the same beliefs as me, hear from several inspired leaders of the Church, and have a great experience walking where the great first leaders of this church once walked.
Although I will only be able to get there if I can find someone else that is going or if by some miracle I can borrow one of my parents' cars... not so sure that is going to happen. ha
I have never attended this Gathering at the Grove event before, but several of my older siblings have...
I think they had a little too much fun :) I can't wait!

yikes...doubt you'll be as nasty as those who-ha's...like your blue/orange scheme, hehe, but i'm a bit biased :) I was wanting to change the font to about the same one you have too - great minds think alike, eh?
ReplyDeletehaha yes, I was trying not to copy yours too much... guess I didn't do too good of a job ha I really like how yours is, but I didn't like all the other colors I was using. They were a little too crazy ha
