Trail Ride #2!
Honestly, I wasn't all that excited about going on another trail ride today for my riding class. We normally have an hour long riding class, but today we were told the horses need some rest and should just be taken out. As pleasureable as being out on the trail is, I like challenging myself with lessons. But the horses needed it, understandable.
I rode Lucky, a horse I had never ridden before and had also never been taken out on the trails at Stone Bridge Farm.... so it was going to be a surprise as to how he would act. He wasn't bad.... but he wasn't all that great either. He's just a bit flighty and didn't want to stop walking at his mile-a-minute pace.
It's a good thing he's so darn cute. Cause acting up and taking off on me? Not appreciated. I'm sure he's great in the ring though...
