Some Things We've Done.
Here is a list of some of the things Andrew and I have done this year:
(I wanted to put pictures to go with all these things we've done but for some reason it won't load up to let me download pictures. Dumb. So I'm sorry if this is terribly boring. I don't like reading blogs with no pictures...)
1. We got married! Mister Brandt and I were sealed in the Boston, Massachusetts LDS Temple, and we were so happy to have all of our immediate family members there with us! It was so much fun and definitely one of the best days of my life.
2. Andrew surprised me with a honeymoon trip to ARUBA! Talk about fun, it was awesome. We lounged around on the beaches, swam in the clear, blue ocean, saw tons of iguanas and lizards, rode some horses from inland to the coast, and did NOT get terribly sunburned. That is a major feat for those that know me. I made sure to layer on the sunblock, and I had to make sure Andrew did it too. He's a little lazy when it comes to things like that :)
3. We were able to see our close friends Megan and Joey get married in the Washington, DC LDS Temple. It was so much fun and we were happy and thankful to be a part of it! They had waited a long time for that day, since Joey was attending the Virginia Military Institute. The cadets aren't allowed to get married until after they have graduated. So they waited about 2 years to be married, since almost as soon as they met and started dating knew they wanted to be with each other forever :) So much love!
4. In June my little sister got married too! We drove up to Boston for the sealing in the Temple and then to my hometown in New York for the reception the next day. That was also wonderful to be a part of. Her and her husband have also waited quite a while to be married, since I'm sure they also knew a short while after dating that they wanted to be together forever :) They are back at school in Hawaii (yeah, I'm a little jealous) after having some actual vacation time and being able to hang with his family at the beach.
Well I'll end my list for now and hopefully I'll be able to fix this and get some pictures for the next post. Hooray!
