Frames

I was given some gold frames as a wedding present and decided to paint them different colors.  I'm not too much a fan of gold picture frames... so I just went a little crazy with painting them!  I've already repainted a few of them to switch up the colors and see what I like best!

I painted this mirror white, and I was planning on covering the whole thing with a few coats of paint to make it completely white, but then I saw how it looked with one coat and I liked it!  The paint didn't fill in all the crevices of the design and it gave it kind of an antique feel, so I decided to stick with it!  So far I still like it.

That yellow frame has been repainted already to a peach color.  Might still change that up...
This vine-type frame was silver, so I said "gross" and painted it black.  MUCH better.  And that green frame is now a very light blue.  That might also change.  I don't know, I just love to paint things.

I love the idea of tons of frames on a wall, whether they have pictures in them or not.  So I'm planning on slowly collecting more and more frames to use for decorating.  I've seen some pretty cool ones laying around at the Habitat for Humanity in town...  I just can't wait!
